Courtney McCluney
Courtney McCluney is an Assistant Professor of Organizational Behavior at Cornell University where she writes, studies, and teaches about the different ways in which institutional practices and policies perpetuate inequality between social identity groups. Through her published work in academic journals and books, she examines how these practices become embedded in organizational culture and she looks at the strategies marginalized individuals use to navigate and resist these inequalities. In addition to her work at Cornell, McCluney serves as an external adviser to McKinsey and Lean In, and she’s a member of the Harvard Business School’s Gender Initiative and Brown University’s Venture Capital Inclusion Lab.
