Holiday shopping can be overwhelming. Make it easier — and more rewarding — by pledging to purchase from women-owned brands. You’ll provide much-needed funds to companies that often struggle to access the cash they need. Today, 14 million women-owned businesses make up 39.1% of all U.S. businesses, but research shows that women receive fewer, smaller loans with higher interest rates.

Once again, we asked Chief Members to share their favorite finds from businesses run by anyone who identifies as a woman. Many of their one-of-a-kind gift ideas are handcrafted by women in need or directly fund efforts to support girls. By shopping below, you’ll help women in so many ways — and find exceptional gifts for everyone on your list.

  1. Sipwell Wine Co.: Offering the first and only canned wine named to the Top 100 list by Wine Enthusiast, this woman- and BIPOC-owned company’s selections are great for sipping when you don’t want to break open an entire bottle. The brand’s holiday gift boxes, which include six or 12 cans, are a festive way to say cheers from afar.
  2. Candle by Jenni Kayne Home: These are a “cult favorite,” according to Chief Members, thanks to their “intoxicating” scents that convey the brand’s signature California cool. A holiday gift set includes four votives named after the West’s best ski destinations in classically nostalgic seasonal scents. It’s the perfect present for après ski — or anytime.
  3. Boutique Box: Fashion industry veteran Catherine Cassidy launched Boutique Box to offer women the perks of personal styling without the hefty price tag. The brand works with a growing list of independent and emerging women designers to curate a high-quality, one-of-a-kind wardrobe for women executives. Give a friend the gift of effortless style with an annual membership.
  4. Genhappy: Thoughtfully designed and sustainably made, all of the pieces offered by this women-owned fashion brand feature unique hidden or decorative symbols, evoking strength, energy, harmony, and more. It’s all a part of Genhappy’s mission to create positive change through happy moments — which is also why it gives a percentage of profits to Girls Rising.
  5. Cuyana: Inspired by the traditional craftsmanship of the goods she grew up with in  Ecuador, CEO Karla Gallardo launched Cuyana to offer women timeless, elegant products that are made to last. This “fewer, better” ethos infuses every item the brand sells, from alpaca wool cardigans to customizable Italian leather totes, and much more.
  6. Shoprefugee.com: All of the products on Shoprefugee.com are crafted by seamstresses who are current or former refugees from countries including Afghanistan, Myanmar, Iraq, and Ethiopia. Nearly everything on the site is made from recycled or repurposed materials. This means 95% of every sale goes back to the artisans, who are honing their craft in a Phoenix-based sewing training program.
  7. Saysh Three x Chief Limited Edition: Clearly we’re a bit biased, but we loved collaborating with Olympic Medalist and Chief Member Allyson Felix to create these stylish everyday sneakers. Get them while they last!
