The Chief Member Advisory Council serves as a strategic and inclusive bridge between members and Chief leadership.

It is a representative group of our membership across geography, journey, membership tenure, industry, and identity.

Council Member Criteria

  • Current Chief Members with at least 1 year active paid membership (in Core or Coaching)
  • Active involvement in a community or segment you represent (attendance at market specific events virtual and IRL)
  • Active engagement in Chief membership, attending at least 8-10 events (IRL or Virtual) in a year
  • Must be committed to serve a 24-month term
  • Commitment to partnering with Chief to improve member experience
  • Actively upholding Chief’s Values and Community Guidelines
  • Openness to partnering with Chief in the spirit of collective ownership of positive outcomes
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the communities you are choosing to represent

What You Will Do

Represent

Serve as the voice of the communities you represent (e.g., NYC market, In Transition, API, Solopreneur) in Council discussions. Serve as a two-way bridge through ongoing updates in digital channels (e.g., WhatsApp, Chief app) and other forums.

Advise

Partner directly with Chief leadership across functions to provide guidance on the evolving Chief member experience – ensuring they reflect the interests, needs, and nuances of the community you represent. Elevate opportunities and ideas for speakers, workshops, ChiefX, and other programming.

Be an Ambassador

Connect and inform members, and share the Chief experience with broader networks. Nominate new members in support of the growth of the Chief community. Show up at key community activities to remain connected to member priorities and dynamics.

In October 2024, we launched a pilot Council. This small group of members have informed the structure and purpose of the Member Advisory Council we have today.

    Council members receive access to dedicated Chief team partners, resources for communication, and opportunities to contribute to programming and initiatives. Council members will also receive a 75% membership subsidy.

  • How are members chosen to represent communities?

    Applicants identify the communities they’re most connected to (e.g., NYC, In Transition, Solopreneur, API). Selections are made to ensure balanced representation across Chief’s ecosystem.

  • Will my participation be shared publicly?

    Yes, Council members will be featured on Chief’s channels to celebrate their leadership and contributions.

  • Can I reapply in future years if not selected?

    Yes. We encourage you to reapply in future cycles.
