Chelsea R.
“I help clients create the changes they want for themselves and their organizations.”
I've always been interested in the narratives we craft as humans and the meaning that we make of ourselves and the world around us. Deep curiosity about these things brought me to coaching early on in my career within human capital management in financial services. My approach is eclectic in that I borrow techniques, frameworks, and tools from many different disciplines and practices to be able to best serve whoever is in front of me in the coaching conversation. What I focus on is helping individuals have greater self-awareness and relational capacity in order to lead themselves and others more effectively. I am practical and tactical when clients need me to be but can drop into existential inquiry when that is helpful too.
“Chelsea helped me assess the situation I needed help about better than I would have done it myself, and she helped me come up with solutions or ways to better diagnose problems that I wasn't considering before.”
VP
“Chelsea was a great listener for patterns of thought and behavior that manifested in disparate management/leadership situations for me. She was able to probe for possible root causes that, when addressed, could have impact in a variety of situations.”
VP
“I really want to thank you for being such a great coach, bringing the provocative and hard questions, supporting me in this path of evolution for greater impact. This process has changed me for good and supported me to have the courage to keep evolving myself and my team.”
Managing Director
“Chelsea was single handedly responsible for me still being at the firm and not flaming out in my first 2 years. She completely changed my view on the importance of relationships and was great at calibrating when to push and when to ease off.”
